Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will assess the condition of your hair and conduct a lifestyle questionnaire to see what services are best for you and the best products to use. Then I can provide a service and style that works best for you or you can book your next appointment when you are comfortable doing so.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained as a platform artist, top notch educator, hair restoration therapy, and natural and chemically treated hair specialist.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are based on yhe services you select but they are always fair and unbiased.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started as a teenager growing up around mentors in the industry. My fascination with all things beauty started as a child and blossomed when I discovered I could pursue my interest while getting my high school diploma. With the intention of going to college and funding my life with cosmetology, my plans of being a top stylist became more permanent when I became a mother. My skills grew and afforded my child the ability to send my oldest child to college. I am grateful to this industry for the ability to raise my family and I intend to continue to bless others through my skills and knowledge.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers ranging from your everyday working/family woman and man to high profile customers providing respect to all no matter your lifestyle or background. My focus is the person in my care, their well-being, safety, and privacy.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One recent event that I am fond of is the Professional Pretty Conferences put together annually by Morgan A. Owens. It is empowering for women and keeps our dreams and goals in focus. I attend every year possible and it is an enjoyable and soul feeding experience.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a stylist that not only styles your hair but cares about you as an individual and wants to work with you to achieve your desired results and your personal health and beauty goals.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Consider asking about their hours of operation and any barriers that may impede your quality of care. Also be sure to ask about products they use and how to take care of your hair when at home or on vacation.
