About
I've been a portrait photographer local to Findlay, OH for 13 years and have built a brand and reputation across the country in that time. I'm known for my patience with children, and going above and beyond for my clients, who to me, become more like friends by the end! My business thrives on repeat clients and referrals.

There are so many amazing things that I truly love about the work I do! Working for myself is an incredible feeling, though being a business owner is NOT easy- it's extremely rewarding, especially when raising 5 little girls! I LOVE working with so many growing families and experiencing all of their most important seasons- whether it's becoming one in marriage, welcoming their very first child, or the pride they are overflowing with as their baby is ready to graduate high school, and I am documenting that fleeting time in their lives. I love the editing- the artistic process, which feels like painting, and brings out my artist. I love working with the public, having a presence on Facebook that allows me to meet new people all over the world and introduce myself to potential clients on a more personal level, and I REALLY love snuggling newborn babies as I gently pose them into styled setups to create art. I love simple, classic, clean- and I LOVE styled, color, props. After 13 years, I still can't believe I've been able to call this my career, and I'm eternally grateful to pass the passion of doing something you truly love, onto my girls.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am originally self-taught and have been in the industry for 13 years. Over the years I have purchased the occasional online e-workshop or guide to further my education in some areas, but overall, my skill set and education is from years of research and self-practice.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Standard sessions range $600-675 including digltal files. For extended family sessions with more than 6 people, the rate increases.
How did you get started in this business?
I started in 2009 after working in the hospital (you know, the newborn photographers there!) for about 7 months! I had taken the job as a part-time gig to get out of the house a couple days a week, as they were only looking for someone on the weekend, about 2-3 hours per morning (my college courses that semester were all online only and I was home 7 days a week with my 1 year old daughter!) In the end, I didnt love missing church with my family every Sunday, and I didnt love the SALES aspect of that job- they wanted you in and out in 15 minutes and then sell poor/awkward/mismached/crying images to brand new parents that weren't even remotely thinking about spending a bunch of money a few hours after they gave birth- especially on mediocre portraits! I did fall in love with the photography aspect and craved better, and more. In September 2009, I set out to start my own business and have given it my all, since!
What types of customers have you worked with?
My client base revolves around the family unit. To put it simply, I specialize in babies and families. This covers everything from newborns, to milestone babies, children and families! I've been photographing weddings since 2010 and still shoot those, as well!
