I am a middle school English teacher; however, I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember. From disposables to my first digital to my current Nikon, there is something magical and moving about capturing a candid moment. Emotions can be revealed and memories can be protected with the click of a finger. It is an honor to provide families with those snapshots.

Most of the jobs I have taken on have been senior photo sessions. I have also done a couple's engagement (the day of the proposal and a follow-up session), several family portrait sessions, and in my own time, I take a great deal of nature photography, particularly while sitting in my kayak. One of my strengths is my ability to connect on a personal level with my clients. The more comfortable we feel with each other the more smoothly the session flows. Capturing candids are often my favorite moments and end up being the best photos. Bringing out the subject's personality is a skill I have continued to hone.
