I am a wedding + portrait photographer based in the Lancaster, Ohio area. I love capturing high quality, modern and creative photographs in beautiful, natural locations within the Lancaster & Central Ohio area. I specialize in weddings, engagement, and family photography. As a professional Lancaster/Central Ohio photographer, I also take photos to help memorialize special moments, such as maternity photography, Senior portraits, lifestyle photos, special events, and those ‘just because’ moments. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get to know the client and what makes them unique and really inquire thes unique beautiful things into our clients sessions. We typically have a new client fill out a questionnaire and then have a conversation on the phone to further meeting our client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a college degree in photography. Although I don't really need it, it is very useful. I have alot further my education by staying up to date on all things involving photography. I have mentored with a lot of great photographers who have taught me alot and I have also taught myself a lot on my own as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
my prices fluctuate depending on the time of year & supply and demand. I don't really have a set rate. It's really per session. There is alot that goes into a quote for a client.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started when I was in high school I took a few photography classes back then it wasn't digital cameras so we actually had to learn how to develop the images. My senior year digital cameras came around and we started to learn about them. I would say when I had my first child I really fell in love with photography and what I could achieve with the camera. Being able to photography this little tiny human was everythint to me and it really made me fall in love with photography.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have the most amazing clients! My clients truly become family!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I photographed former Ohio state QB Justin Fields. That was amazing. I also photographed a huge Black Lives Matter and womens right protect. Which both of these sessions went viral.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Definitely hire someone who knows what they are doing especially for a wedding or newborn session. Those are sessions you can't redo especially a wedding! You want to make sure they know what they are don't. Most of the time if they are super cheap they haven't been doing weddings for awhile and that makes be a red flag.
