Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A conversation to learn what the guest is looking for, then a thorough consultation as to how we will achieve the look. For Men we will discuss how to produce the look once the cut has been finished. For every client we will discuss how to manage the look and pre book their next appointment
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team takes continuing education classes, seminars and we attend conferences local , as well as, around the country We also use journal sites and product sponsored webinars.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
yes. We have standard pricing for all our services to give the client aa chance to see what his or her total service will cost allowing them to customize each visit according to what their budget will allow.
How did you get started in this business?
The salon has been in my family since 1975. I have great staff who have been with us from the beginning and new staff who have committed to staying another 40 plus years. I feel this says Air about our business
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds. We have been proud to say we are a family salon. We work with generations of family members. We have stylist to manage all ages and services.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently were asked to become honorary "shavers" for a St. Baldwick fundraiser. This is the second year we have participated. It is very moving to be a part of something that special.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Call and personally speak to someone at the salon. We seem to be moving away from person to person conversations. That is where the service actually starts.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should have an idea of what they will be looking to achieve. Pictures are a good tool to express a goal. Have some idea of the services you are interested in before your consult.
