About
I am a Landscape and Portrait Photography located in the Midwest United States. Primarily I photograph around Ohio and southern Michigan, but I love traveling all over for the perfect photo opportunity. I have started slowly though look forward to expanding my reach to help as many people as I can, to get all of the perfect shots that they need!
I have been looking through a lens for 8 years. Over this time I have travelled all over the Midwest and Eastern United States from one beautiful location to another. I have recently begun work with friends and family, and am excited to start sharing my work with the rest of the community.
I absolutely love doing what I do and certainly can't imagine ever leaving photography, and I hope my pride and commitmitment to what I do is shown in what you see from my previous work.
I am currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Toledo in North-Western Ohio, though photography has always been a huge hobby of mine. I grew up in Central Ohio and know the area well, and I will gladly assist in finding the best locations to shoot.
I enjoy every single part of it! I have always loved to take photos, and I love being around people. It is the perfect opportunity to not just help my customers capture the best of life's moments to save for years, but I love meeting new people. Normally I even make a few friends along the way!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every single project has to start with a simple conversation! I am here for the customer, and my priority is ensuring that they get everything out of it that they are looking for. I am here simply to help them through the process and take the great shots they're looking for! After deciding exactly what the customer is after and when/where we will be shooting, we go for it. Post-processing for photos normally takes no more than 1-2 weeks, and can be rushed upon request. Full-size digital copies are available for free with the photoshoot package, and prints can be ordered for an additional charge at the customer's request.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no professional education or training in photography, though I do not see that as a negative thing in the slightest! I have always been a pretty creative person and I think my unique perspective as someone from outside of the photography world is exactly what some people need.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing entirely depends on what the customer is looking for. For quick single shoots I will normally charge an hourly fee, though for long events or larger projects I tend to go with a one-time fee. No matter the number, digital copies of photos are ALWAYS free with the package in addition to an unlimited number of locations for every shoot!
How did you get started in this business?
My uncle is a huge photographer and he was the one who introduced me. I bought my first camera with his recommendation. I grew up always enjoying taking pictures of others though, and even before purchasing my first professional camera I always had my phone ready to get awesome shots whenever and wherever the opportunity arose.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked mainly with friends and family, though am slowly branching out to offer my services to anyone in need!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do not hesitate to talk to a multitude of photographers before you choose. Whether it is comparing prices, location offerings, or simply their personalities it is important when choosing the person who will be capturing you and your family and friends' fondest life-moments that you are going to not only be comfortable with the photographer, but thoroughly enjoy the time you spend with that person. Photrophy is a job, but is also a friendly interaction that is supposed to be fun and bring people closer together. You will always get the best results from your favorite person, not just the "best" photographer out there. The most important thing is how YOU feel during the entire process, and the happier you are with the person taking the photos the better every shot will turn out.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
To make a list?
1) Ask about his or her personal experiences with photography. Not their experience as a photographer, but their experience with the process in general. It is very important to get a feel for how that person works and thinks, and to get a general sense of their personality. You will be working with them after all!
2) Their photo packages and offerings. Make sure that he or she can meet whatever expectations you have set. And don't be afraid to tell them what you want, its the photographer's job to make your vision a reality.
3) Pricing. Now that you've narrowed it down to your favorites as people and for what they can offer you, go with the cheapest :) Money is important and can dissapear very quickly when it comes to photoshoots, but it is still the least-important part in my eyes when it comes to capturing the best of life's moments!
I hope that helps!
