About
I've been a professional photographer since 1981 and a professional graphic desinger since 1992 when I worked in Hollywood (now back in the Great Lakes), and I love to amaze people by creating images others don't--I have won numerous awards for my work. I prefer natural light settings and try to capture moments as rare as the light that falls on them. It's difficult to "create" a moment--capturing it requires foreghought, planning and patience...and good post-production techniques. You can see much of my published work by visiting http://PhabFoto.com and see some of my other creative work at http://gallery.phabriq.com or my other design and production work at http://portfolio.phabriq.com
Seeing smiles on client faces is my favorite moment. And I always get smiles!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Meet and assess client needs and hopes.
2) Scout for ideal location/visit their preferred location to check for lighting and background requirements.
3) Detail deliverables in advance so there is no confusion as to scope of project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied photography in High School (operated my own darkroom/lab), Film Studies at University of Colorado, Graphic Designer in Hollywood agency post-graduate, published professional photograper since 1982.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I work less for the money and more for the experience and to add to my own portfolio (portfolio.phabriq.com). For my experience and published results, I've been told I'm probably a bit too competitive by saying I'll meet or beat anybody else's price & work. But like I said, I love photography more than money I guess.
And, i even just thought up a really corny jingle: "Gimme a try and you'll knjow why. I'll bet my fee that you'll agree."
