About
I go above and beyond to make your experience as easy and relaxing as possible. Most people get nervous when they have to have their picture taken, so when I can get them to relax and open up I just know they are going to love their pictures!
I absolutely love capturing the moment. My favorite thing is when I can kind of fade into the background, and get the real, raw natural expressions of my subjects. Their reactions when they see the finished product is what I live for!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to keep things pretty simple. Once you decide to hire me, we will decide on a date and location. Payment is due the day of the session, and I typically have the phots edited within a week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took my first photography class at BCCC, and am continually taking workshops and classes to learn and grow. I am currently enrolled in the Flourish Academy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My base pricefor a portrait session is $250. If I have to drive over 25 miles, I add $25. Events such as parties and weddings are priced by length of coverage, how many people there will be, and how many locations I have to trave to.
How did you get started in this business?
I started scrapbooking when my daughter was born. Whenever we would go to scrapbooking events, I would see these amazing photos people were putting in their scrapbooks, and I soon became obsessed with photography and lost total interest in scrapbooking! It is something that I love to do, and I get to meet the best people by doing it!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly families, seniors and couples. I also have gotten to work with a lot of pets, which I absolutely love!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure that you are a good fit personality-wise. You can love someone's work, but if there is no connection between the photographer and the client, there is always going to be something missing from the photos. If you find someone you enjoy working with, you can have a great working relationship for years.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You should decide what style of photography you enjoy first. If you like a more edgy, urban look, you aren't going to like your photos if they are taken in a flowery field. Make sure you communicate what look you hoping to achieve before your shoot. That gives the photographer an idea of what to do for you, and helps when scouting locations.
