I created Feather Love Photography in 2005 and within a few years became one of the most prominent Wedding Photographers in the world, pioneering the Alternative Wedding industry as a world-class creative Destination Wedding Photographer.
My work is internationally-renowned and I’ve been widely published in the most prominent wedding, design, travel, portrait, and lifestyle publications such as The NY Times, Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, NY Magazine, People Magazine, Refinery 29, Classic Rock Magazine, Rangefinder, Glamour, Brides, Rue Magazine, DWP Congress, et al... My weddings are featured extensively in the most distinguished new-fashioned wedding blogs including Green Wedding Shoes, 100 Layer Cake, Ruffled Blog, Style Me Pretty, Rock & Roll Bride and more.
I am a Harper’s Bazaar selected “Best Wedding Photographers In The World” for four years in a row... Martha Stewart Weddings named me as one of their “Top 25 West-Coast Photographers”... I have been voted by my peers as one of “The 100 Best Wedding Photographers In The World“ three different times.
Adobe personally invited me to present my work as an Artist and give a talk about my creative process at one of their sold-out live-streamed events. I have shot and styled for GAP and ASICS; and my Artist Workshops have sold out in the USA as well as in London.
I’ve been flown around the world by my eclectic celebrity and philanthropist clients – shooting destination weddings and events, travel photography jobs, and touring as a rock ‘n roll band Photographer. My images play a pivotal role in the hit full-feature film “Mothers Little Helpers” with title credit. I’ve been highlighted in both solo and group art shows, and my work has been published in well-known wedding and fashion books.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a potential new client contacts me, I ask them a few important questions like 1) What kind of shoot they are looking for, 2) What date (weddings/events), 3) How many guests, etc. These questions are relevant to the type of shoot we are looking to do. Once these questions are answered, I will send over some options to choose from and when I recieve that info, then I start putting an estimate together. Once the first draft of the estimate is sent, clients can choose to add, make changes or ask further questions in order to customize their service. Then we book! This usually invovles signing a contract along with a retainer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been exclusively working as a proffesional Photographer for 18 years. I was raised around it and stareted playing with Photography as a child, then took some classes in college and later became a band & rock 'n roll Photographer -- within a couple of years, I officially started my own business specializing in and pioneering alternative weddings: Feather Love Photography.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was flown out to photograph a private party in Tuscany, Italy where my philanthropist clients hired The Beach Boys to open up for Queen (w/ Adam Lambert) as the entertainment!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always look at thier portfolio online and trust your gut - If you are moved by their images then you connect with that Photographer. This will build trust. If their portoflio doesn't make you feel anything, then you may be dissapointed later on... Follow your intuition.
