I am a Advertising and Product photographer, what makes Toby Boles Photography stand out is that we custome each shoot to the personality of the client. We don't want to just take a shot of a product that looks like everyone elses. we will use visuals that will make a customer associate the product with the client. In addition, I strive to make any of my clients products look so desirable that even if they didn't need it they would go out and buy it.
There is nothing more fufilling than seeing the wow factor on a clients face when he sees his product in an advertisment or a new menu for their resturaunt. Something they can be proud of.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the intial contact. the client and mysef will sit down and discuss what the vision of the shoot, What demographic the images are directed to. Then we would start working on a brief. Then after we have come to a understaning on the vision, I would take the next day to go out price the items I would need to complete the shoot. Then we would schedule the day of the shoot. New clients I try to have at the shoot just in case they want to make last minute changes or just to be able to see the process of the shoot itself

Day Rate Pricing Guide:
Product and Advertising Shoots
Day Rate: $750 to $2,000
Price is depending on how extensive the project is. Project must be a minimum of 5 hours of work.
Outside Service:
CGI, Retouching. Models, Stylist) $200 Base Fee, this fee covers two outside services used. If more is needed it will be depending on their hourly rate.
Set Building & Props: Price is determined on how much time and how much work is put into the set. A non-refundable deposit will be required for any sets that require $100 Set Building is not included in the day rate since it can take multiple days to create a set.
Equipment Rental and Studio Rental:
This fee will be determined when and if needed
Licensing\ Usage Fees: Negotiable
Assistant Fee $50 Per Hour, price covers one assistant. Any additional Assistants required will be an extra $25 per hour.

Started out in Portriats and wedding photography. Then started dabbling in products and I realized that this is where my passion for photography is
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with distilleries, worked with resturants, catalog shoots for amazon and ebay.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The advice I would give is be involved in the creative process and be part of the shoot itself. There are Product photographers that would rather the client not be there because they can be overbearing. but that for me is where that connection between image and client comes from.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Are you insured, Background and Creditials, should always ask to see the portfolio, what does the fee's include?, Turnaround time?, and who owns the rights to the photo?
