Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get to know each client so we can best meet their needs. We offer FREE consultations with our Wedding/Event Coordinator as well as use interactive planning forms and questionnaires to help our clients give us as much info as needed to create a successful experience for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The lead team members on our staff each have more than 15 years of experience working as pros in the areas they serve as well as schooling and certificates in their areas of expertise. Our ABOUT US page on our website goes into a little more detail on all our employees.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We have a beginning pricing system that allows us to customized based on the client's needs and the unique aspects of their event. We never want to over-charge our clients so we take into consideration things such as: Season, Day of Week, Guest Count, Time of Day and more before working up a quote.
How did you get started in this business?
We began as a small company that was a husband/wife team. Tom had experience and schooling as a Graphic Artist, Sound, Lighting, and Photography while Eve had experience and schooling as a Wedding/Event Coordinator and Planner. Their unique skill sets created an amazing pairing for an Entertainment Company. From there we've grown into 10 employees with a range of skills and experience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of clients. We've done elegant, yacht club weddings to Firehall Fundraisers for local charities. We love each event that we serve.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently provided DJ, Photography, Photo Booth, Coordination and Up Lighting for a very sweet couple. It was a wonderful experience because the couple and their families were so warm and fun. It was an outdoor wedding with a bit of rain and energetic indoor reception.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't base your decision on cost alone. Pros charge what they are worth and you don't get a do-over on your special event. A pro brings years of experience and high-quality equipment along with them. You want amazing memories, not regrets.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. How much experience do they have?
2. What do their reviews look like? Are the majority of them good?
3. What does their previous work show? Do they have photos and video samples of what they've done?
4. Remember that a pro is working for more hours than just what you booked them for. An 8 hour wedding day is a commitment of between 30-40 hours from a pro in prep and conclusion time.
