About
My style is what is known as Neo-Classic. It's a classic style with a modern twist. Coming from a photojournalistic background, I love the mixture of candid and posed. So you will see that in every one of my sessions.

We’ve had senior pictures and family portraits done several times and have always been EXTREMELY happy with the finished product! I’m so excited for another round of senior pictures this summer.

We chose Cari to do Nathans pictures because she works so well, and understands, this age group. She was so professional and patient during the photo shoot. She immediately made Nathan feel comfortable. Also, she was totally cool with some of my strange requests during shooting (ie, please dont let him have that weird fake smile in the pics). Thank you, Eva Seraphine Photog Studio for a superb senior picture session!!

Let me start by saying that she is amazing to work with. She brings an amazing energy to the session. She is wonderful at letting photos happen naturally and posing. She helps you create a beautiful stop in time of a moment that will always bring a smile to your face. We have had a couple of sessions with her and each time she has managed to capture something amazing and beautiful and meaningful. I didnt get many pictures in my wedding dress (where the heck did that day go?!). However she was able to get some wonderful shots of me in my gown before my gown is renewed. It was fantastic and I am so happy to have them! She also is able to make the session comfortable. My autistic son who does not do photos (except on moms phone and never holds still), was able to have his photo taken! He was actually smiling! She was able to involve him and include him and make it feel natural enough I dont think he knew we got some photos! I look forward to all the future sessions we will have with her!!!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The moment we connect I start getting to know them so I can tailor their session to who they are. That is very important to me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a former Public Affairs/Broadcaster for the United States Air Force. So not only am I trained behind the camera, I was trained in people.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing system is based on what you are looking for, the editing style you chose and the time that has been put into the session.
How did you get started in this business?
I took what I was trained it and mixed it with passion and turned it into the business I have today.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with local fashion designers, families, graduating seniors, landscapers, real estate agents, Famous basketball players, CEOs, mothers and everyone in between.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There are so many to choose from, but I am most fond of the time I got to spend with basketball player Chris Singleton. I got to follow him around and document his life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Connect with their style. What you see is what they will provide for you. If you are looking for another style, they probably aren't your photographer. Then...connect with the photographer! That is SUPER important. That personal relationship to me is sometimes more important than anything!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should think about what they want out of the shoot. What is the end result? Are they wanting to print them, or share them on social media? Are they wanting these portraits to tell a story or just be a bunch of photos on a wall? Those will get some questions rolling.
