Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As an educator I'm very patient. I don't get annoyed with questions and I am very supportive of circumstances beyond your control where your hair is concerned. I have a small private space that allows a client to come in and feel safe. I am also Covid certified.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am I licensed cosmetology educator and I work with students teaching them the latest techniques. I've been invited to host my own classes as well as work with Empire beauty school and have my own pre salon class.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary because a consultation is needed. It's always best to have a consultation to determine what our expectations are. It keeps surprises out of the equation.
How did you get started in this business?
I've been styling hair since I was 12. My mom was a beautician and she taught me how to make wigs and use the marcel iron at a young age. I decided to continue my education after I graduated cosmetology school and I went to get my educators license. I now have my own salon after working for a series of salons. I finally have found my place in this industry.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have serviced all people from many walks of life. I have done runways and fashion shows and art gala benefits for charity. My work ranges from natural to bold.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Opening my salon after working for so many people. I finally have my own.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't go with cheaper go with skill and the person who responds and is eager to service you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Be open minded to try something new and allow for the pro to give you suggestions for the best outcome.
