Hello I am Rutta, I am a licensed hair stylist in Philadelphia & New York. I have been in the beauty business for almost 20 yrs & my main goal is to keep your hair healthy. Every service starts with a consultation that is important because it helps us build a road map of your hair journey. As an added bonus I also make customized wigs. In the case that you have a wedding party, girls pamper day etc. I am able to accommodate.

I went to beauty school in 1994 & started off as an assistant after graduation

My clients consist of the everyday working women to stay at home moms to corporate women...every women no matter her status wants to feel beautiful & confident
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to them on phone after your initial contact so you can hear their voice, listen to what they say & how they say it ask questions..do they have knowledge in the services you are inquiring about ? Are they patient ? Are they engaged ? And most importantly trust your gut...I'm a great hairstylist but I've had to turn clients away because I knew I wasn't the hairstylist for them
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Be clear on what you want & expect
Have all the details about when where & how many people are getting serviced
Have pics of several hair styles you're considering...unfortunately what I think or see as a red head may not be what you had in mind
