Weddings are where two hearts beat as one, where families come together, where tears and smiles happen at the same time and where photographs tell the story. I really enjoy being there to capture those very special moments. I love to capture images as people are responding naturally with an artistic flair. By using unique backgrounds and poses that match the personality of the entire bridal party makes our photos special. Photography is where I can capture tomorrow's memories. Working with couples, families, and guests allows me the opportunity to memorialize your special day. Our passion, commitment, and professionalism add to our ability to create stunning images.
I am a passionate person that enjoys having the opportunity to capture everlasting images that can stand the test of time. I have invested time and resources to purchase professional equipment to pursue my dream of full time photography. There is nothing like seeing time stand still while evoking something inside of the viewer that sparks a personal reaction. This is why I call photography my art. I am a musician, a licensed minister, and a community driven social services engagement manager for a non-profit. In other words I serve people daily. I see each day as another opportunity to view life through the lens of the camera. I am the owner operator of Blackwell Soundz & Entertainment LLC. We have been providing services since 2006 with the a focus of providing DJ services. We have added photography services the beginning of 2017. I currently manage and coordinate our website, all photography and videography needs at my current employment. I've been able to capture sports photography for Victory Views an online sports journalism company throughout the Pittsburgh area. I am always looking for opportunities to grow, develop, and strengthen my skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a customer friendly process fo those clients on the go. Our website is cell phone friendly, our customer forms are easy to use, and our customer database allows for communication and acurate records and documents.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in the wedding business for over 12 years. I started in the wedding business as a DJ and have built the photography side on the past few years. I have taken online college courses, many hours of online tutorials such as Creative Live, Udemy, and Phlearn.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We provide DJ, photography, and videography services. We also combine services to create many options that can fit into a variety of budgets. All of our pricing options can be found on our website.Our DJ services start at $895, Photography $750 and videos at $500.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been a part of weddings and entertainment most of my life. As a former drummer and vocalist it has been a natural progression into providing the services we have today.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. Urban to rural. Plush hotels to elegant barns. Young couples in love to those renewing their vows. We've see it all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
All of the events we cover are special. But one in particular included a hayride, a choreographed wedding party dance, and a spin the bottle dance off.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
We like to share with our clients the importance of asking questions. Try to make sure that the professional you hire can relate to what you are looking for. We focus on communication and listening.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Some of the typical questions start with experience. I prefer to start with can we communicate in such a way that your expectations can be achieved. Yes, experience is important as well as skill but ultimately will the person you choose listen.
