About
I'm a freelance photographer who loves creating beautiful and intriguing images that capture the eye and the soil, whether it be images of people or landscapes.
I've been a professional photographer for over 20+ years, it is a side job for me now. When working with people I always try to make the photo sessions and images a collaboration between me and the person I am photographing. I'm always professional and ontime. I pride myself on having a quick turn around time on proofs and final images.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We communicate via phone, email, text, and/or face to face to talk through their expectations for their photo session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20+ years experience in photography. I've worked for several newspapers over this time period and have work with over 400 different clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based on the needs of the client
How did you get started in this business?
I started out word of mouth and have grown from there. I decided a year ago to step away fulltime photography work and pursue another career path but continue to do photography work on the side which allows me to have more flexibility in what I photograph and how I photograph.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've with seniors, families, brides and grooms, a diverse range of ethnic backgrounds, various theatrical and concert venues, editors and publishers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I photographed a community event that was a fund raiser for the prevention of military suicide. The event included a 5k foot race, a parade, several food trucks and vendors and a concert with a world famous rock and roll singer. It was an all day event and was a lot of fun to capture the event.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask as many questions as possible. Be clear on what you want. Just because the pro's price might be higher then what you want to pay, still communicate with them and find out why. You may be surprised by the pro and decide to with with that person.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What do they want to be photographer?
What are the end results desired?
How professional is the person?
Pricing and is the client willing to spend a little bit more then they really planned?
Expect what ever your budget is, to be too low for your needs. There is a lot more that goes into the photography then just pushing a button.
