I enjoy being around people and take pride in making people feel comfortable in being in front of the camera. I am personable but also methodical when it comes to my photo sessions. I am laidback but am very capable in rounding up groups of people for photos. I enjoy getting creative shots and delivering quality work.
I enjoy being around people, hearing their stories and giving them a product that they enjoy at the end of the day. Most people are afraid of/uncomfortable in front of the camera, I am thankful that I get the chance to make them feel comfortable and provide them with a memorable and fun experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have a phone conversation so I could identify your needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing this for ten years now. I was professionally trained at the University of Missouri-Columbia where I graduated with my degree in broadcast journalism.
How did you get started in this business?
I fell in love with photography when I was in college. I have been stung by the travel bug and I am a huge foodie. I enjoyed photographing my food whenever I travel. I realized my food photos did no justice to the delicious food I was devouring. Since then, I made it a point to constantly improve my photography. My training as a broadcast journalist also helped my photography and videography skills. And over time, I ended up doing this full time!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of customers. My favorite type of customer to work with is the ones who trust my expertise and experience. I enjoy collaboration and making a vision come to life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently filmed a pro surfer who lives in Maui, Hi.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find somebody that you trust and somebody that you can connect with.
