From the beginning of time food was the common denominator that brings all people together. Sharing a meal makes people happy and here is where my passion lies. I love to cook, but I love to host even more. I want my food to bring people together!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we would start by finding out what my client has in mind. This is where I would throw in ideas of my own.
We will come back and forth until everything is just right - the food, the price, the venue, the time, and what service is expected (on-site service, drop off and set up only).
Once all those details are finalized, a 25% deposit is due. The balance will be due 3 days before the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a culinary degree from LeCordon Blu Chicago. I have worked in the family restaurant since I was a child - even tried to get out of it and got myself a CAD drafting degree. Thats when I realized in the kitchen is where I wanted to be!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on what the customer's wants.
How did you get started in this business?
As a child my family owned a restaurant - you can say I was breed into the industry. As my love for cooking grew, my desire to learn and experience more grew as well. I attended culinary school in Chicago and worked under some amazing chefs until I decided to move back home.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have been a private chef for people, I have catered weddings, brought in lunches for business meetings, have hosted wine dinners, have competed in fun food related events. I work with everyone!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last month I hosted a Lebanese wine dinner. Everyone expected Lebanese wine with Greek food - boy were they wrong. I prepared some Lebanese classics (with a touch of Greek flare). A good time was had by all!!!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Let the expert guide - give them your ideas, the mood you'd like the event to have, but let them guide you.
Food should represent the mood and style of the event - so be sure to tell them what you want and them guide the way! Its what we do best.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask about price - food varies so much and remember a low budget doesn't mean a sacrifice in quality.
Also be specific of the mood you'd like - the food should represent the event - is it a fun/festive event - we'll do food on a stick, is it a formal affair - we'll do something classic.
