About
I am a fine art photographer based in Charlotte specilizing in Weddings, Fine Art Portraits, Sportraits, and Senior Portraits. I spent years in the fashion industry teaching posing classes for models and actors so I carry over the fundamentals of communication to my portrature. Beginning as clients and leaving as friends, we laugh, have fun, get comfortable in front of the camera and build beautiful works of art. For wedding photography, you can enjoy your special day knowing that every detail will be captured.
I love what I do. I enjoy making people feel good about themselves and delivering quality photos in a level that they never dreamed possible. With my experience in the talent industry, I help my clients with posing that is the most flattering to their body shapes and as a father of 4 children, I know how to make a fine art portrait session fun.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love new clients! As a new photo client, you are always the star of the photoshoot. I meet with you before the shoot with recommendations for outfit coordination, location, and a walk-through of how the photoshoot day will go. On the day of the photoshoot, I talk you through the whole experience, making sure you have fun and we get the best photos. After the event, I hand-select your photos, edit them and we have a meeting to select the perfect shots for your print products.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Charlotte-native photographer, I have been interested in photography for over 10 years starting with teaching DSLR camera use in 2001. I am not satisfied with being an “average” photographer.
I have had experience working with adult and child talent from modeling and talent agencies such as Carolina Talent, John Casablanca’s Modeling and Talent Agency, Charlotte Seen, LocalScroll.com, Yelp and CBS Radio as well as private gigs.
I now work with families and sports teams to produce amazing portraits and wall art.

I have standard pricing packages for weddings. Choose from light, medium, or bold packages or create your own collection from a set of popular product choices.
Fine Art portraits sessions are designed for large-format canvas portraits. Standard pricing lists are available.
How did you get started in this business?
I have loved photography since middle school and have worked on perfecting the art ever since. It wasn't until 2013 that I officially started Nathan Caskey Photography and I haven't looked back. God has placed amazing opportunities in my hands and I am thankful for the difference that I can make in each of my client's lives.
