What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll have a brief consultation so I can learn and understand your photography needs: how many people will be photographed? Is there any special occasion (birthday, anniversary, new addition to the family)? Are you looking for digital images, prints or both? How long should the photo session last? Budget? Any special requests for the style, theme, posing, etc. Half of the cost is due at booking to reserve you selected date and time. The balance is due on your photography date.
Once we have agreed upon a package, date and time, I can plan and prepare for you session to make the most of the time you have reserved.
Dress how you like for your photo shoot: casual, Sunday best, comfy, matching, or coordinating colors. Simple patterns and solids are recommended, but you do you! We'll keep it fun and casual and I'll walk you through each step so you can just relax and enjoy the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 7 years of experience working in a professional portrait studio shooting all subject types. I also have 3 and a half years of additional work focusing on babies and children age 5 and under using a portable studio. As an experienced photographer, I am confident you will love your portraits! And as a beginner freelancer, my fees are competitive as I am building my portfolio.
