About
Someone was once asked what was their favorite photo? Answer: The one I didn't take!
Photographer by age 9 (I still have my 4-H Club photography book.) Model by age 15: Elite New Faces Division 1980 NYC Traveled and worked in the fashion capitals of the world and became a hopeless romantic about life!
Fast-forward and all these years later I'm back! Living in my home state of TN traveling between Nashville and NY and still working both sides of the camera. It's my passion!
I'm a local branding and lifestyle expert specializing in headshots of all types, boutique portraits and high-end event photography.
I've lived a story book life that skewed my vision royally! I take pictures in my mind all the time. I see beautiful and interesting images that I feel communicate something personal to the viewer and Click! (With or without a camera.) It is an art form, an expression, a message, a story, a soul, a life!
If you like the images you see in my portfolios then chances are you will love your session with me! I'm very hands on before, during and after your session straight through the production of your artwork. Let's chat about your story and your dream and express it in your artwork.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After our initial contact, and hire, I email an invoice to secure the session date and time. Once confirmed you receive an email with tips and suggestions for your session about what to bring. I may then send a session reminder the day before your arrival.
Then there’s the awesome session where we meet settle, relax or pump up and create! A few days later you receive a private proof gallery to review and make your selection. You then confirm ny email your choic(s) and 2-3 days later I deliver your final 5-7 images per choice via electronic file transfer for you to download and save.
I then follow up that all looks good on your end, thank you and boast on social media about how great your shots look! 😁
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a self taught photographer originally, ever since I picked up my first photography lesson in 4th grade! Since then I worked on the school newspaper (old school in the darkroom) later I became a world traveled fashion model working with the best photographers in the world and picked up a few tips. When I left NY and LA I moved back to Memphis and started photographing actors when others started asking me to photograph them, their weddings, bellies and babies I jumped at the chance and then started my business formally!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Rates for individuals are $150 for one look/wardrobe change, $250 for 2 looks, $300 for three looks. Includes 5-7 final digital versions of ONE image per look, formatted in color and b&w, ready for various format needs you may encounter.
Most portrait sessions follow this structure. Modeling portfolios vary slightly and weddings are a separate custom pricing.
How did you get started in this business?
I had been modeling and acting around the world professionally since the age 15. When the writers strike in LA prevented me from working/paying rent as an actor, I moved home to Memphis, temporarily I thought :) Next thing you know, I own a home with a photo studio and am doing well behind the camera!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with everyday people to celebrities and VIPs, from the creative to the corporate, solemn to dynamic personalities. I see the best in people and show it off always!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of a lot that I photograph. I have to be, but I photographed a woman that had NO PHOTOS taken in 30 Years! She didn’t allow herself to be photographed ever! Not even snapshots. She came to my studio scarred. I brought her in, talked her through it, helpef her feel welcome and relaxed and she giggled all the way through her session thanking me at the endangered said that she had actually had FUN!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
More important than if you know them, or pricing even is do you like their style. Have you seen photos they’ve done and like them? Then comes pricing and whether you know them or not should only come into play if the first two things work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
That depends on their photography needs. If it’s a wedding there is a lot to think through if it’s a headshot then they should consider if they are planning to change their appearance anytime soon and wait to shoot or shoot now and again after their look changes.
