How did you get started in this business?
I have been braiding hair since I was a little girl. I developed a love for my craft and I love seeing the finished work every time.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mainly adults of all ages and some children.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was able to service a client with alopecia. The finished product shocked me, and reminded me of why I love what I do.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure that the stylist offers natural hair care as well. For example they should offer a shampoo service and explain the length of time a style should last. They should also offer to shampoo and detangle your hair once you have removed your protective braid style.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do I have enough time for the entire service to be completed?
Did I explain all medications and their effects on the condition of my hair?
