Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set up a 30 minute consultation just to get to know what my client's style of photography that she wants and if she likes my photography style as well. Getting to know each other and to know if we fit to work together.
Then, we discuss the right package suited to their desired wedding photos to have. From then, I set what I can do and what I do not do like shrinking there waist and arms. I believe anyone can be beautiful if they smile at the camera. My keen eyes and my camera will definitely capture every moment beautifully.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Photography Certification Course at Collin College Continuing Education. But long before I took the formal course, I have been doing this photography as a hobby since I was a teenager. I saw the photography work of one of the vendors and I fell in love with it and I told myself ..." I can do that!". And so I decided to take the right step is to get an education on Photography. I have learned a lot and I am still learning for self-improvement.
Same thing with my floral designing work. I have been a free lance florist for 3 years and I still sometimes do freelance floral designing whenever job order is at low peak. It is very fullfilling to work with an expert wedding florist. I get to learn their mechanics from floor to ceiling installations. Actual work /on the job is the best way to learn wedding floral installations.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
yes I do have standard pricing system for my photography services. For small events, I charge $100 per hour and provides 50 digital edited photos for $200.
How did you get started in this business?
Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was a teenager. I officially added my hobby as a business when I saw a beautiful photo images captured by one of our wedding vendors. I told myself that "I can do that!". And so, I went to study Photography Certification course at Collin College Conitnuing Education .
I started working on my skills through mini-photosessions since 2021. Pandemic did hurt my floral business in mid 2020 when many brides cancelled their floral orders. That's when I decided that it is time to work on my photography. So in 2021, I started my advertisement on Mini-photosessions.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have shoot almost 100 photo sessions.
I have worked with clients for Family, Children, HS Graduates, Senior Prom Students, Birthdays, Fabulous 50s, Engagements and Wedding photogrpahy.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love wedding & event parties...people are all dressed up really good, they laugh and mostly I get really good pictures of them with their happy faces.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I know there are a lot of budget brides nowadays. But the most important to have in your event is Photography. Please never put aside photogrpahy. Photography is an investment. It is the only things that remain with you aside from your spouse after your big event. Your guests are gone, flowers wilted and money in your pocket are all gone but not your treasured memories. Photography is the most important investment to have in your event. Keep your budget high on photography services!
If you try a photography package service within your budget, please set up a mini-photo sessions first to find out. It is one way of knowing if you like his photo style; if his captured images are well focused; if images are crispy clear and are not heavily edited that they turned out like a cartoon. There are a lot of talented new photographers out there. You just need to try them out first. It is better to waste $100 dollars on trial than wasting thousands of dollars of so called investment on photography.
Again, Photography is investment. Set your budget high! :)
