Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You may text me or email me to start a conversation about your session you would like. I love phone calls overall the most, but I care about the convenience you need first.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years in the field of Photography. I have countless hours related to my field through online training courses, books, and on the field experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Typically a session is around $325, with hand selected and edited images for your gallery online to view and make purchases. 5 Digital images are an option with this package as well as another package including all your digital files.
Wedding packages start with 3 hour coverage at $899. Special rates for small weddings are negotiatiable that are under 3 hours. A full wedding day of 12 hours would typically be around $6000, which includes several extra sessions and products but not limited to, and can be personalized.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in Photography 20+ years ago when I was contracted in the Modeling Industry. 5 years ago I started working with a company as their Studio Manager organzing all the studio sessions for headshots, families and seniors. I then was enamored by beach weddings and then I branched out and included Boudoir and many other facets of Photography. Today, my business is still multi-faceted with just about everything! I primarily practice with Weddings, Engagements, Family and Children and Boudoir. But if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with coorporate to the mini sessions clients. I have worked with Business Professionals, Models, Teams sports and animals! I am sure anything in-between!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My daughter's bestfriend was married in our hometown and I have to say her wedding and all the special moments around the wedding was the one that really hit me and I was very excited to be a part of that day and capture the most amazing memories for them!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I believe if you are a customer looking for a Photographer for you needs, be advised of their work. Looking at their portfolio if it is something that you see working for the look you want. Also, look at their years of experience and finally if they use a great camera. I could go on and on for more ways to choose your Photographer. Prices usually reflect their abilities, so keep that in mind. I shoot with a Nikon D810!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Asking the questions always helps, but having a conversation with your Photographer is clarity and understanding for both parties.
