About
Please read my bio first. I'd like to start this out by saying that I use this site for marketing online. I use it for genuine purposes. My pricing is included here. Please feel free to message me, if you are serious about looking for a stylist. I do not use this site for discount servicing like Groupon or others. I work in a personal work suite in the Design District, where some of my special skills are working with curly, and or texture problematic hair, thin hair, perfect hair, and every type in between. My coloring skills tend to run in the direction of achieving natural looking hair color while maintaining as much of the hairs health as possible. I've been a stylist for over 30 years. 14 years in the Chicago area, and 21 years here in Dallas. I've never believed you can learn it all. There is always more to learn. I'm not afraid to tell you something is a bad idea for you or your hair type, and I sometimes refuse color services that I feel will impact the hair's health too much. I ask a lot of questions and work very hard to make sure you understand my answers so that you understand how your hair will look when you leave. I don't like having a stunned looking client when we finish. Both of us need to be happy with the results. I don't double book clients, except for Holidays and some Saturdays, so you won't be put to the side while I work on other clients. That time is for you alone. I also schedule my apppointments the appropriate length of time needed, so I can stay on schedule.
I enjoy the process of problem solving. This carries over into clients with hair issues. If we can figure out how to make and keep your hair looking great, that is very satisfying to me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Lots of Q&A for a better understanding and making of a happy client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many days of advanced education, with Wella, Sebastian, Redken, Goldwell, Toni & Guy, Schwartzkopf.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have standard pricing except for corrective color, and some of the lightening techniques. Those are based on the lenghth of time I will spend getting you where you want. My base colors are $65, highlights range from $95-$110. I base my haircuts on length and styling. Either $35 or $55.
How did you get started in this business?
I used to give my stylist directions on how to cut my hair. She was a friend of mine, so she didn't scold me too much, but started telling me to go to school to learn to do it myself. So I did. Boy, did I find out how little I actually knew.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clientele is predominately working professionals. Female and male alike. Most of my clients have been with me very long times.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Especially when moving to a new area, start asking people whose hair you like, where they go, right away. Don't wait until your are desperate for a haircut and make a rash decision in a hurry.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Not so much a question but let them know how much time or effort you typically spend on styling your hair. Stylists sometimes put great effort, products, and time into the finish out, that you are never going to achieve and maybe frustrate you. If you don't want to spend much time on your hair don't feel ashamed and afraid to tell them. It just shows you are a person who doesn't let your hair define you.
