Shine 49 Media House was created by Travis Petty to enable brands and companies to shine through the creative use of film/video and photography. We specialize in brand and product promotion and marketing, branded entertainment and television development/production. We are located in the heart of Dallas, TX. Our creator has worked on projects for national brands including Frito Lay, Gold’s Gym, HP, Shiner Bock, NAPA, Budlight, Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, George Strait, The Jonas Brothers and Deion Sanders. As for TV, you’ve seen our work on NBC, Travel Channel, DIY, A&E, HGTV, Showtime, TLC, Style Network, History Channel, MTV, BBC and more.

Our founder and Visual Visionary Travis Petty at Shine 49 Media House has been creating exceptional motion-media and still photography projects for over 19 years. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's talk! Every project is a unique custom creation. There is nothing cookie-cutter about it!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did go a film school . . . but much more impactful has been the nearly 20 years of perfecting my craft since my first paid shoots just out of High School.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Since every project is custom, I can walk you through the whole process (which begins with vision and if you know the budget range you have available).
How did you get started in this business?
Took to photography as a wee lad growing up in Texas . . . figuered I should make this my profession along about high school. Launched out shortly after, and haven't looked back!

Large and Small . . . From national brands/people like Frito Lay, Gold’s Gym, HP, Shiner Bock, NAPA, Budlight, Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, George Strait, The Jonas Brothers and Deion Sanders all the way down to local business owners who haven't made it nationally (yet!). As for TV, you’ve seen our work on NBC, Travel Channel, DIY, A&E, HGTV, Showtime, TLC, Style Network, History Channel, MTV and BB.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event . . . Well, I shot some amazing photography while in Colorado recently for a TV shoot. Hiked in to a waterfall, which I shot for about an hour . . . Nobody in sight.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Advice . . . make sure you talk about budget! And see what they are going to doing for you for your given budget. And make DARN sure you look at their work!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is my budget range? (This will be one of the first questions you should be asked by a pro)
What is your vision for the project?
