Speaking with the customer to see what they are wanting and making sure that I can meet their expectations, scheduling an appointment, meeting with the client for the shoot.

How did you get started in this business?
I was born and raised in Texas and have always been inspired by the landscapes and beautiful nature of Central Texas. I started exploring photography in 2008, but it wasn’t until 2013, before my father passed away, that I truly started to dive into photography. He purchased my first Canon camera for me and I fell in love from there. I started my business doing photoshoots in 2015, and I have grown from there. I am registered with our local parks and authorized to do any photoshoots within the parks. I eventually want to own my very own studio. My family tells me that my dad would be proud of me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk with them, connect with them and make sure that they are a good fit with what you are hoping to see. Look at the photographers website and see their work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What exactly do I want. How much am I willing to pay.
How quickly do I want a turn-around from taking the pics to the deliver.
What location am I wanting and what are my time needs of the photographer.
