A recent event I'm fond of would have to be volunteering with my son for his high school swim team.
I only have a couple more years left before he's off to college. Each experience shared is a blessing. While cashier at homecomings concession stand may not have been my first pick, it's the little things that add up to a life well lived.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask all of the questions you have. Then ask the professional to fill in the blanks. Client education is the key to a healthy and successful partnership.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is the inspiration picture I'm looking at something I am willing to do at home?
If you love a high maintenance color or style:
#1 - is the upkeep something I'm willing to do? Maintenance color/cut
#2 - am I willing to invest in the aftercare or styling products it takes to achieve this look at home?
#3 - do I have realistic expectations? If the picture is king thick hair and I have shoulder length normal to fine hair, it's not going to look exactly like the picture.
