My name is Ja Minna Alexander better known as "Chef Minna" and I am the Owner and Executive Chef of Minna's Lovely Creations, a up and coming Catering company based in Houston, TX. I have over 20 year's of food service experience. Which includes a Culinary degree and being TCA and ACF certified.

At Minna's Lovely Creations we turn your ideal event into reality. Great food isn't all you can expect from MLC, it's an experience sure to take your breath away. I take every step in personalizing each event so that it is tailored just for the client. I provide a variety of services such as food prep, private affairs, caterings (both full service and drop and go's), corporate events, custom treats and so much more. Jamina was awesome! She came to my home/the venue and spent all the time we needed to decide on the menu. She and her staff were on time, prepared, professional, and amazing 🤩. The food and service were outstanding . Our event went off without a hitch and was extremely successful because of Jamina and her crew. Can’t say enough positive things about her!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

All customers receive consultation detailing the event at hand. Once an agreement is reached a contract will then be signed outlining the terms and conditions. At that time a deposit will be required to hold the date and being the preparation process. Remaining balance must be paid in full at least one week prior to event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Culinary graduate AA-Culinary Arts
