About
Salon quality products and salon professional tools are key to achieving the Heiress or Heir look! I specialize in haute custom hair color on all hair types that is equally healthy; as well as designer haircuts that have lots of movement and longevity. Integrity of the hair is key and foremost. Your haircut and haircolor is not at it's optimal head turning ability unless the the hair is healthy! With me, it's all about the total, overall expierence not just the actual service.
This is not just something I do ... I was born with this gift from God! My hands are blessed, of this I am sure but He also gave me a love, passion and creativeness for this as well. This, you may ask, what "this" particularly is; it's my ability to make your tresses look beautifully gorgeous, with a stunning, healthy shine and all wrapped up in style! But mostly my biggest reward is the countless opportunites I get to meet all kinds of new, exciting and interesting people; allowing us both to be greatly enriched and impacted.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon intial meeting of a new client I first conduct a thorough consultation with him or her; getting to know a little bit about the hair history, personal lifestyle and hair concerns and desires.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my certification from Aveda Institute Dallas, which is one of the leading manufacterers in cultivating 98% plant derived products. I am also CHI Certified for the signature blow-out and ultimate blow-out! As a professional practice I make it a point to attend at least 2 to 3 continuing education classes a year so that I may stay up on the latest hair cutting and hair coloring techniques.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are are both market compartive and competitive and the entire list can be found on my online appointment book at styleseat.com/heiresshair.
How did you get started in this business?
As cliche as it sounds; it's true, I was born with the gift and passion and have been cutting, coloring and styling hair since early childhood. I turned my passion into a profession after experiencing burnout from working in "the corporate world" and realizing I was not designed for that lane!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of clients, like an interracial truck driver, a caucasian grandmother who doubles as social activist, a Middle Eastern single mother who travels for a living, a Latino gay woman who works for Walmart and a African American paralegal working her way to her law license. I do not discriminate to do so would be to limit myself! I'm still waiting on the opportuntiy to service a celebrity!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently a client of my was wondering if she should go shopping after receiving her bi-weekly shampoo and style service. An overjoyed woman stopped by my salon the same day, sharing how our meeting was God ordained because she had been praying for so long for the right someone to help her manager her hair. This woman came only a few hours after said client left my salon; I knew then that my lovely client decided to go shopping after all!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The consultation is not just for the professional hair care provider it is for you, the customer, too. You, the customer, are interview the professional just as much as he/she is interviewing you. The client/professional relationship is much like the paitent/doctor relationship; it must not be entered into lightly and the two of you have a good repore with one another.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
A customer should be willing to be totally honest about their hair history and any medical concerns that could potentially affect their service. Before a chemical service a customer should always take into consideration the overall outcome of receiving said type services. And most importantly a customer should always think about their motives for receiving any type of hair service and always do what works for them and their lifestyle; not because of what someone else said or is doing.
