Lucy has been passionate about portraiture photography since she was a young girl. Her true passion shows in the way she captures children laughing or couples in love. She enjoys all types of photography.
Lucy is professional, friendly, quick to communicate and extremely fast to deliver the end product.
Photography has been her passion for nearly 30 years. She enjoys getting to know families and cultivating relationships with them so she can document their families for many years to come. Lucy also loves to travel to Utah and Costa Rica to photograph birds and landscapes and recently went to Big Bend to photograph the stunning Milky Way!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Lucy's typical response is to speak to the customer regarding expectations and location and timing and fees. Once customer decides to book, a $125 deposit should be given via cash/check/Zelle or Venmo. After the shoot is over, she will expect remaining fee. Lucy has a turnaround time of 24 hours (for all jobs except weddings and large events).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lucy has been practicing photography for 34 years.

One hour family portrait sessions are $325, large parties $250 per hour, half hour headshot and mini sessions which includes 10 images are $195.
Newborn sessions are $425
Corporate event rate is $350/hr
Product photography in studio or on location is $750/hr
Weddings start at $1500 for 5 hours of coverage. 8 hours for $2500. 10 hours for $3000. All wedding packages include bridal portrait and entire event coverage. Prints packages can be purchased. And digital images can be downloaded for a small fee.
How did you get started in this business?
Lucy started her passion with taking portraits in 1984 at her high school in Virginia. Since then she’s perfected her craft by taking workshops and countless hours of workshops and online classes.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Lucy has worked with newborn babies, high school seniors, mother/daughter sessions, pet portraits, corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, corporate headshots, product photography, personal branding and real estate work.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
High school senior portraits are her favorite sessions but recently she worked a 80s themed 40th birthday party that was pretty fun.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a photographer that has examples of their work and style and pick one that suits your desire and budget!
