My favorite part is definitely connecting with people and helping them feel their absolute best and capturing special and awesome moments for them. I also love the constant change of pace and being able to meet and work with new people every day! It keeps me excited to continue creating beautiful work and happy to be able to do what I do full time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you hire Blue Marie Photography, we will start by meeting so we can discuss your project ideas, plan your shoot and get to know each other a little bit (so it's not too awkward when we meet for your shoot). On the day of the shoot I will guide you through styling, posing, and bringing out the best qualities in you. Afterwards you get to go home and relax while I perfect your images and create a stunning online gallery for you to view, download, and share your experience!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate from the Art Institute of San Antonio with a Bachelors of fine arts in Photography. I have trained and learned from a handful of qualified professionals and worked alongside other photographers who are masters at their craft.
How did you get started in this business?
I began taking photos of friends and family for fun while I was in high school after being interested in photography for so long. After graduation I went to school for photography where I began growing my business, building my brand, and perfecting my craft.
What types of customers have you worked with?
To give a glimpse at just how much Blue Marie Photography can do my clientele includes families, couples, graduates, local businesses and organizations, designers, models, actors, bloggers, local restaurants, makeup and hair artists, drag queens, even a psychic medium and a former Miss America contestant. Blue Marie Photography is proud to create beautiful work for people from all backgrounds and walks of life!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Living in an area that is as saturated with photographers as San Antonio is, it can be an overwhelming task to find someone who is the perfect fit for you and your project. My number one piece of advice is to look at your portfolio and see if you love their style! If so, reach out and see if you click! The most important thing is having a good connection with your photographer so you can trust that they will make you feel comfortable and produce something you will love. There are so many to choose from, the right one is definitely out there!
