What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get them to relax and be at ease typically with self-deprecating humor. I let them know that we all can look goofy. there is no shame in it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of experience working for other studios as well as owning my own for most of those 30 years.

How did you get started in this business?
I was asked to photograph a wedding in 1989. I had never done it before and figured I was ok with a camera so why not.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have photographed everyone from newborns to politicians and even a 101-year-old. You name it I probably have photographed it at least once.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Go with experience. Often people with only a couple years experience do not know how to react in adverse situations.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Am I looking for just any photographer?
How am I basing my decision? Price? Experience? Quality of images? Reputation?
How do I want to receive my final images? Just a thumb drive or prints ready to display in my home?
