Founded by Chef Jean-Roody Salvator, Makaya blends traditional Haitian cuisine with global influences to create unforgettable food for private events, corporate gatherings, and special celebrations.

    We hired Makaya for a private event and the food was honestly amazing. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the menu and how everything is prepared.
    The chef was professional, on time, and easy to work with. Our guests kept asking who made the food and where they could book him again. The portions were generous and the presentation was great without feeling over the top.
    If you want good food made by someone who truly cares about what they do, I’d definitely recommend Makaya. We’ll be booking again.
