Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a telephone interview, voice or facetime. I will guide you through a fun and professional experience. You will love your images!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with several mentors in several genres. I have attended in person and online nationally recognized photography education courses. I have worked for other photography businesses as well as on my own business.
How did you get started in this business?
I have enjoyed photography since my Mom gave me my first instamatic camera for my 11th birthday. I started photographing family and friends in sporting events, gatherings and weddings. When others began to request my images, the workload justified making photography a business. Photography is personal. I take pride in every image I produce.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients have been babies to bodybuilders, professional head shots to super bowl parties, high school seniors and senior citizens. I have done some commercial products work but I enjoy photographing people.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy fitness and surprise engagements the most.
Fitness people are proud of their uniquely personal achievement. I help them accent that achievement and caputure it.
Engagements are when everything changes. There will be no wedding if there is no "Yes"!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone who will get to know you. Someone you like and trust. Start with a phone conversation with your photographer. Your relationship with your photographer will show in the images you create.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have a clear vision of what you want. It is ok to share Pinterest pictures of something you like but know that your images will be unique. Put yourself in good hands and enjoy the experience!
