About this pro

I believe the meaningful relationships I build with my families & brides allow me to illustrate every unique story through high-quality digital and print images, at affordable prices.

Between family sessions, seniors sessions and some pretty amazing weddings, I’ve fallen more and more in love with this amazingly beautiful life.  I truly have the best job ever!  Being able to capture your moments, your memories, & your forevers allows me to share that joy and beauty with not only you, but the world!

When I am not working, I enjoy the simple things in life, with my amazing husband Jason, our 5 dogs, & 18 chickens.  Our daughter, Lilly, just recently graduated from high school, left the nest, and is about to embark on her next adventure in life.  She is currently torn between college and the US Navy, and is working on making a final decision on what she will do next.  We enjoy camping, hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing, and exploring pretty much anywhere in nature.  We love live music and attend as many shows as we can, for both our local musicians, and our favorite mainstream bands/artists.

These are my moments, my memories and my forevers, they are what drive me to do what I do, and the reason I love what I do.  I believe everyone should be able to capture their moments and cherish the memory of them forever.

So tell me, where do your moments, your memories & your forevers begin?

Jen came out to do our family photos right after the county began to open up from this COVID mess. We were all nervous, not sure what to expect, or if we would even be able to capture anything good having to wear the county mandated face masks. But Jen was so sweet, she masked and gloved up so we wouldn't have to, made us feel super comfortable throughout the entire experience, captured some truly beautiful images of my lil family, and got our images back to us much faster than the contracted delivery date. We must have sat and talked for a good 30-45 minutes after our appointment, and I can definitely see why her clients love her. She is amazing and I cannot recommend her enough!! We cannot wait to work with her again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Here is my workflow process.

1. Receive initial inquiry (phone, email, social media)

2. Reach out via phone, email or video chat to consult with client to find out as much detail on what they are looking for in their session.

3. Work with them to create a unique session that meets their needs, including advise on styling, posing, location, dates and times (as needed).

4. Send Contract & Invoice once date, location and time are locked down.

5. Session is confirmed upon receipt of signed contract and paid retainer.

6. Remain in constant communication with client throughout the entire process to ensure that all of their needs, expectations and any image requests are met.

7. Proofing gallery is sent within 7-10 days of session date (usually quicker) with basic edits (color correction, etc) so that client can select their images that are included in their session package.

8. Once client image selection is received, full edits are completed for the selected images, a sneak peek is posted on social media, and the final gallery is released for client download and/or print purchases (usually completed within 72 hours).

9.  One week after final gallery is released phone, email or video chat to follow up on the experience, request feedback etc.  My goal is to ensure great customer service, superior quality images, and affordable rates for my clients.  I want their experience to be unique and exceptional from beginning to end.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am always working on keeping up with the latest trends in photography.  I have taken many masterclasses covering everything from basic Mastering Your Camera, Boudoir, Weddings, Posing, etc.

I continuously invest in bettering myself, my equipment, and use my continuing education to bring new/improved techniques, styles and session to my clients.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

I have set packages for both Portraits & Weddings they can be found at the following links:

How did you get started in this business?

I have been involved in Photography for 24 years in some way or another.  I got my start in High School by taking Photography, and being on the Yearbook staff as a photographer.  Since then I have used the skills I learned in school to provide photographic content for many businesses in the hospitality industry, while continuing to pursue ways to learn and improve along the way.

What types of customers have you worked with?

High School Seniors

Corporate Headshot Clients

Brides & Grooms

Corporate Events

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Just last month I had the most amazing Sunflower Field, Sunset Session with the most adorable family and their newest addition.  The kiddos loved playing in the sunflower field and mom & dad were in love with the final images from this playful session.  I cannot wait for the next session with them once their littlest one turns 1.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Check out potential photographer's editing style and make sure it matches with your own.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

What type of session am I looking for?

What is my budget for my session and/or prints?

Do I already have a location, date, time frame in mind?

These questions help me make your session unique to you.  If you aren't sure, let me know, and we can work together to create a session that is uniquely you!
