I make my clients feel very comfortable and I love for them to be engaged in the shoot. I always ask them if they have any fun poses they want to do ( I love it when they do) and we have the best of times.
I love the process itself from chatting with potential clients all through editing. I get so excited actually seeing all the shots in camera and then in Lightroom. Its just amazing to me. When customers are not sure about what they want, it gives me an opportunity go into my bag to interesting ideas and see what comes out. I love the look on their faces when they see how it finally comes out.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet (whether virtual or in person) new customers for the first time to get all the details about their shoot. I ask them specifically what they want or what ideas they have. Then I suggest ideas or locations if need be. After that, they formally book the session on my website and pay their deposit (which is 50% of the total cost of the session). Lastly, they are sent a contract to be read and signed. The final payment is due on the day of the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had a few mentors and tutors that I am very grateful for. They were able to teach me a few things and critique my work when I just started.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For portraits (boudoir, maternity, birthdays, engagements, etc), my prices vary by the number of hours that each shoot takes. For events, I charge $150 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours.
How did you get started in this business?
I started by doing it as a hobby. I watched my mentors doing it and loving it so I decided to make it a business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with moms-to-be, ladies turning the 4-0 and also 21, small families (3-4 people), beautiful ladies doing sexy boudoir shoots, graduating seniors, etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be a specific as possible about what you want. If you are not sure of what you want, please specify that and be open to suggestions from the photographer. Be accessible (phone and email) as much as possible
