Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A great thorough consultation. I take pride in my work and want us to be on the same page, before I get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a master stylist and also a certified educator. I've taught the entire curriculum. I've also managed a salon for 5+ years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is different for each client as no two heads are the same. Pricing is always determined during the consultation which is always free.
How did you get started in this business?
I've always loved it. When I was little I'd line my baby dolls up and style their hair. I pierced Barbies ears way before Mattel 🙃 I got started in a high school cosmetology program and I'm still loving it!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Every type! That's what makes it a love affair with hair! It's never the same and never gets boring or stale!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love hosting Angel Tree events for single mothers and their children. I was a single mom and I know how hard it was to make Christmas happen and pay the bills. So helping women and children in our community is especially important to me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you're getting a detailed consultation. Don't be afraid of asking questions about the stylist experience level.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Again ask about experience. Make sure you're both comfortable with your desired outcome. I'd rather have a professional who's upfront with me than to wing it, especially if you have to walk around with that winged job for months 😬
