Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I work with I new customer I like to get to know them and begin the development a relationship. I ask them to share their wish list with me for the photo session be it a portrait, event, business session , etc. It's my goal to get them comfortable with me before I ever bring out the camera. I like to set an appointment where we just sit and talk about what like and I share with them samples of the work I've done.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied photography at the Charles Taylor Art Center, Hampton, VA and through the Artinspired Center's VAPC Photography Classes and Workshop, Newport News, VA. I also completed a 18 month apprenticeship through Artinspired Center.
