About

Current USAF member and Criminal Investigator. My initial experience in photography stemmed from crime scene photography, which branched into landscape photography. I decided I would much rather create scenes than just photograph them and that got me started working with models. Since that time, I've added portraits, commercial, real estate, and pet photography. I have been published numerous times in over 10 different magazines and was featured in a few calendars.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to coordinate with them in advance to visualize what they are looking for.

I've done crime scene photography for twelve years, landscape photography as a hobby for several years, portraits for four years, and real estate photography for one year.

Generally, my fee is $100/hr which includes travel, shooting time, editing time, researching and spotting locations, and obtaining permits if necessary.  Not all of these things apply to every photoshoot, and I am willing to negotiate.

I learned crime scene photography from at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, developed that into landscape photography as a hobby, which rolled into model photography as a hobby.  I built my portfolio into a professional service, which I've been expanding into other types of photography.

Families, groups, couples, professional models, and amatuer models.

I have heard horror stories from other photographers and about other photographers, but I guess I've been fortunate because I've enjoed all of the shoots I have done.

Hire someone you feel confident with.  A photoshoot is nto just about the pitcures.  Find someone who communicates with you prior to, during, and after the photoshoot.

Is the photographer worth the cost?  Photos are not cheap, but as with any other business, some people are out there who will over charge or only care about getting paid, not so much about getting you the photos you want.

Can the photographer provide the photos I want?  Even the greatest photographer might not be the right choice for you.  Their style might not be what you want.  That's why communication is so important.
