About
Grove & Ganache – Owned and Operated by Chef Marie, who has been cooking for 25 years and learned the ropes from her mother who was a caterer in the DMV area for over 15 years. From the age of 9 Marie worked her way up from a dishwasher, line cook to sous chef in her mother’s and grandmothers kitchens and took her love for food and experience and created a menu that is true to her roots and that showcases her palate and passion.
At Grove & Ganache, we don’t just cook—we curate comfort. Our food is a southern fusion experience inspired by the rich traditions of the African diaspora, blending soulful Southern classics with vibrant influences from French, Caribbean, and Asian and Italian cuisines.
Grove is the savory side of the plate—slow-braised meats, seasoned rice, cheesy grits, and bold vegetables. Ganache is the indulgence—the banana pudding with layers, the velvet cupcakes that melt like memory, and the ganache-dipped brownies kissed with sea salt.
