About
Out of the Box Photography is a family run business. My daughter and I started out shooting events at our church and have expanded from there. Being raised in a close family we understand the importance of family photos being more than photos- they must be MEMORIES. We also believe a photo shoot should be FUN- how else can you get MEMORABLE photos! this is our goal- we want you to ENJOY making your memories!
I enjoy getting to know the people I’m photographing and capturing them on camera Seeing their reactions when they see their photographs (especially the ones who say they never take a good photo!) isn’t bad either

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a brief “meet and greet” on the phone or in person to get to know my new client and find out what they are hoping to achieve in their photos. If this goes well, then we also talk about the financial aspect of the photo session and how photos or images will be delivered. At this point a contract is sent for review and signature- to be returned with the deposit. I use this same process with established and new clients as each photo session is unique.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked assisting different photographers in the area and attended in person and online training sessions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Shoot prices are negotiable. Prices for ordering photos & digital images can be found at my web site: www.outoftheboxphotography.shootproof.com
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked for churches doing events; theater production companies doing doing promotional photos; and individuals shooting engagement photos, small weddings (indoor & outdoor), birthdays, & portraits (including Senior/Graduation, Confirmation, First Communion portraits).
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My daughter & I photographed a wedding where the bride was 8 months pregnant and it was raining like mad (they had tarps up as a precaution). Our bride was uncomfortable and not wanting to smile- we succeeded in getting her to smile and enjoy having the photos done!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would look for two things-
1- Feel comfortable with your photographer
2- Take s look at some of their work not just for quality but for style
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Thete is NO dumb question! You would ask a doctor to explain if you didn’t understand, treat you photographer the same way!
