Pastor Angela Slater is a native of Jackson Mississippi where she received her formal education at Jackson State University and American Intercontinental University. She was licensed and ordained into the ministry in 2000 under the leadership of Dr. Dwayne K. Pickett, Sr. In December 2009 she was consecrated as Pastor under Bishop Derrick Traylor.
Pastor Angela Slater is the co-founder of City of Grace Church International in Aloha, Oregon, Irving, Texas and Jackson, Mississippi.
Pastor Angela is a published author and the founder of Angela Slater Ministries and President of C.O.R.E. Ministries, a nonprofit community organization dedicated to helping underprivileged people and communities.
Pastor Angela has held many positions such as Pastor, Executive Pastor, Chaplin, Teacher, Director of Prayer, Director of Altar Care, Small Group Leader, Minister of Pastoral Care, member of the Praise Team, Choir Member and Facilitator of Worship Service.
