Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we receive an inquiry typically we provide them with our online brochure/questionnaire for them to complete. We like to have a virtual meeting after the questionnaire is received to review the information and answer any questions they may have. Once we know we are a good fit, we send a custom proposal (contract, invoice, and payment schedule) for to be reviewed and electronically signed. A 15% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date or session, which may be paid by check. Once your session is reserved you will receive online correspondence to prepare for your session.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our weddings range between $1,500 - $3,500; with the most popular series being between $2,750 - $3,000 for 9-9 coverage with two full photographers.
Our engagement session is $500.00, however if you add it to a wedding package you receive a discount.
Our boudoir packages range between $350 - $750. Our all-inclusive package includes hair, makeup, location, and photography for $750.00. Our clients receive the photos through an online gallery to download (complimentary) and prints (for an additional cost).
Most of our other sessions range between $250.00 - $500.00 depending on the type of session and length of the session.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Bridal clients, newborn - graduates, corporate gatherings, pageant headshots and many more.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you like their work and get to know them. If you are a bridal client, make sure you like and are comfortable with your photographer because they are the one that sees you the most. For boudoir clients, make sure you again are comfortable with your photographer.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1) What kind of photography do I like?
(Photojournalism - capturing the moments as they happen, Candid - which is similar to photojournalism with more attention to styling, Formal portraiture - traditional posed shots, Glam - filters are applied in postproduction to get supersaturated colors as in a magazine, there are many others but we find these are the most popular.)
2) What is my preferred photography style?
(Light and airy, natural, dark and moody, artistic, vivid, b&w or sepia.)
3) What am I expecting from my photographers?
(Capture the moments as they happen or traditional posing? Are you looking for help with closing, timeline, or location selection?)
4) How do you want your photos delivered?
(Online gallery, USB Drive, Albums or Prints)
5) What do you plan on doing with your photos?
(Upload to social media, share them with family and friends, Prints/Albums/Wall Art, Gifts or Greeting Cards.)
