About

Over 20-years ago, I started my career as a teacher. After teaching for ten years, I crossed over to “the dark-side” and became an Administrator (Dean, Director, Assistant Principal and Principal) for now for 14 years. As a building administrator, I could never pay my teachers for all the times they went above-and-beyond and deserved extra pay; but I could cook for them. And that’s how it all started. I had a team of teachers doing extra so I made them dinner. I was surprised they liked it so much and started telling other teachers. Soon, I was never short on volunteers as they knew I’d cook them dinner. Never could I imagine the joy I got from cooking good food for good people. That sparked a whole new passion and plan for my future... and Rosey’s little kitchen was born.

From humble home-cooked meals to fancy feasts... Rosey's Cocinita can cater for you. Cooking good food for good people is what it's all about. Inspired by the traditional dishes of Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and more, we bring them home to you with a modern flair and flavor.

Every year for Teacher Appreciation Week, I cook a full meal of my specialties: Sweet Barbaco Tacos, Coconut Rice and my Elote 2.0 !  I never leave out my vegitarian friends... for them, it's Chili-Lime Jackfruit Tacos.  This past year with the pandemic lock-down, I did a drive-by lunch service for the teachers at school.. curbside pick up or delivery to their house.
