After returning to the United State from serving his country. Unsatisfied with his career he decided to return to school to pursuit his dream. He returned to ASU and earned his 2 BFA degrees in Design and Photography in 1979. Most of his career he worked as an art director. The last 20 years Gordon was employed by Rio Salado College as the Manager of Art Direction creating ads, brochures, all facets of marketing and photography for the College. From an early age his love for photography started with his father’s Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Camera. During his college days he became great friends with Pasco DiCarlo who opened his eyes to photography in a different way. Gordon remembered him saying, “You have to be the camera! Open your eyes! and See the Light!” Pasco was an amazing photographer himself. Gordon is now retire and is planning to publish his works that he has achieved over the last 55 years.
