I have been a photographer for most of my life, trained as a teenager by my professional photographer parents. I have worked in my own business since 1999 and give every client individual attention and help you to determine your goals for your session. My specialty is photographing family and children in a way that will make you see what is special about each subject, as well as the relationship between subjects. I work mostly in black and white film and your portraits are hand printed one of a kind art pieces. Every product is the best quality because these family portraits should be masterpieces.
I love working with people to help each person tell there own story. I have always been interested in the stories behind people and I love to create images that tell every subject's own unique story. I love creating beautiful, one of a kind images of your most cherished people, that will hang in your home and make you remember.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with all new clients in order to understand their goals for the session and their specific needs. I also like to understand what is unique about their children/family so that I can work with them effectively during the portrait session. During the session itself, I focus on creating images that meet the states goals so I am not wasting your time or over-photographing and making everyone irritated. After the session, every client comes in to the studio where you see the images projected and I help you to make your decision as to the best images for display and best way to display them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by my professional photographer parents, as well as other professional photographers in photography classes. I have been photographing for 30 years, and have had my own photography studio for 18 years. I am an expert at portrait photography, lighting, working with every type of child and helping my clients to achieve their goals.

Yes, it depends upon which type of session and which size and finish of portrait. In general, for a family session with four people, where you choose four portriats (one of the family, one of kids together, one of each child individually) you can expect to spend between $2000 and $5000. For a session with one child, you can expect to spend between $500 and $2000.
How did you get started in this business?
I was trained as a teenager by my professional photographer parents and worked in their studio and photographed weddings on the weekends. I started my own studio in 1999.
