My service stands out pretty much due to a natural eye for design and the ability to create something in my mind and work to bring it to life!
I listen to my clients' needs and create to match their personality and taste. I throw in some extras now and then offering some alternatives for them to consider.
I love photography and I love people. Nothing makes me happier than knowing people love their photos, they see themselves through my eyes and direction.
I love having light and fun conversation with clients between camera clicks! I like the natural smile and laugh that can come only from genuine enjoyment!
So many times, I find people who love a look but feel they aren't the type or feel awkward... I love to have sessions where my client has no idea how I got the shots because we were so busy talking or chatting or they felt awkward in the pose. I find most people are happy to push the comfy limit!
The reaction people have when they see themselves in a different light is priceless to me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to make sure they are comfortable with me as a person and me as a photographer. They need to have trust in my abilities. They have to have confidence in my ability to capture their needs.
I explain my work process to them and also assure them they will receive all instruction to their digital prints and how to get paper prints if needed via email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an art degree, however, I never even thought about photography as a business until many years after school.
I began playing around with style and models and tortured my family with photo sessions until I started getting requests for photo sessions!
How did you get started in this business?
I get started in the photography business by starting as a hobby and progressed to offering photo sessions to family and friends until one day people started asking to hire me!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all sorts of customers. Babies, Maternity, Wedding, Engagement, Couples, Families, Extended family, Corporate Events and Fund Raisers, Pets, Kids (young and old).
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you like the pro. The magic only works if you trust and/or comfortable with your photographer. No strssing during a session! Only fun!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Be clear in communicating your needs. If you tell your photographer, "You lead."; then be serious about letting them lead. If their lead brings something to mind that you want, tell them!
If you are afraid to tell your photographer what you want then you have the wrong photographer.
Be realistic about what you want. Do you want minor editing? Then expect your flaws to be minimized, not gone. Do you want more editing? Be specific about what you want done. I have several clients who have scars from a bad experience as they ask it to be removed, while others want the scars left in because it is who they are.
