What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education in Visual Communication and Design, and Training with Studio K Photography in professional portaits and lighting. I ran a professional portrait studio for 5 years conducting all aspects of the business.
How did you get started in this business?
I was hired as a portrait photographer for a photography studio, I ended up running the business for 5 years! Now I run my own photography business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked a wide range of customers, from Families to High School Seniors, Artists needing photography of their work, Fashion Models, Fashion Designers, Commercial work with brands shooting promotional photoshoots of their products as well as Directing and shooting a commercial for brands needing contact and branding and advertising videos and photos of products and models.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Working for a special event for the cast and crew of the Spiderman movie, covering guests, brand sponsors, special moments of the party, and getting to meet incredible people from all parts of the movie industry.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Have sample images of what you like, AND dislike, to show visuals of what you want.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What would be recommended wardrobe and dress based on your experience? Where will this content be displayed? (via print, in a magazine, on a billboard display, on social media, on a portfolio web site?
