Candid Camellia Fine Art Photography
About
Hello, I’m Emma, the Photographer behind Candid Camellia Fine Art Photography, serving Southern California and Destination Clients with candid, timeless, naturally guided Photography.
My work is rooted in preserving the moments that matter most, the quiet in-between glances, the joyful family chaos, the emotional milestones, the soft details, and the memories you’ll want to return to years from now.
Photography has been part of my life since childhood, beginning with Film cameras and DSLRs, and growing into a love for storytelling through Weddings, Engagements, Proposals, Portraits, Graduations, Family sessions, Boudoir, and private Events. Over the years, I’ve built my style around emotional connection, thoughtful direction, true-to-life skin tones, soft romantic light, and galleries that feel both polished and personal.
I believe beautiful Photography is more than simply taking pictures. It is helping you feel comfortable, present, and cared for while your story unfolds naturally. I offer both customizable and preset Photography collections based on your event type, location, timeline, and final delivery needs.
For Weddings and emotional milestone Events, I also bring a calm, grounding presence to the day. I gently guide Clients through portraits, family moments, and high-emotion transitions so the experience feels less stressful and more meaningful.
Whether you’re planning a Wedding, Engagement, Proposal, Graduation, Family session, Baby shower, Bridal shower, Birthday, or private celebration, I would be honored to help preserve your memories with care.
Serving Southern California, including San Diego, San Bernardino, Orange County, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Monrovia, Lancaster, Palmdale, Santa Barbara, and surrounding areas.
Candid. Timeless. Naturally guided. Fine art photography for love stories, milestones, and meaningful celebrations.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to work with my clients in a personal manner via phone or through Webcam so we can break down barriers and really understand what they are in search of.
Communication via messages is fine, however I prefer the latter, also depending on how my client feels with the communication process.
Once I understand the details, I start formulating a process to make the session come true!
When a client is unsure of outdoor locations, I always have a library of Locations to offer depending on the client's preferred naturescape background.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Antelope Valley College for my Photography skills and WOW, did my taste for pixelated art, GROW expontentially!
I learned how to dabble with 35mm Color, Black and White Film especially in the Dark Room where developing art, starts in pitch black, darkness. From there, I grew into Photojournalism Composition, Digital - Beginning and Advanced, and finally, Studio Lighting.
The culmination of those courses allowed me to find myself through my style.
